Efficiency Partner Role Granted to Musk and Ramaswamy

"Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies," Trump said.

One could almost imagine the excitement and giddiness held by Vivek and Elon, given 18-month terms in a role that never really exists in government.

To Trump's credit, he kept his promise and gave these two a role that we can't even explain how it will be funded. Do either of these people need money, really?

Well, perhaps Vivek, who absolutely blew his chance at President by getting into fights with all the news organizations.

"I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans," Trump added.

Musk quickly explained his essential role to Trump:

"All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency," Musk said, adding, "Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know!"

We're not sure if Musk knows there exists things like oversight committees. You know? It's like a group of people who watch costs and track expenditures over time. Just to make sure things are being done right.

Not busy enough in owning 6 companies, we struggle to understand how much work one can do with teams or zoom meetings. I don't imagine Elon or Vivek will be doing any kind of regular meetings with Trump.

And here is the gem of wisdom that Vivek spouted after getting his hard-earned promotion:

"What you're hearing from Donald Trump is he is going to be a president for all Americans," Ramaswamy said. "I think Donald Trump is focused on what makes people's lives better. And actually, my message to Democrats out there, even those who didn't vote for Donald Trump, is to give him a chance to actually make your life better," he added.

I don't recall him giving a damn about anyone actually.
