Just a mere 2 days away from the election, and a FCC (Federal Communications Commissioner) claimed that VP Harris's appearance on Saturday Night Live has violated the 'equal time' rule for Presidential candidates.
Brendan Carr posted on Twitter Saturday, claiming "This is a clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC's Equal Time Rule".
He continued:
“The purpose of the rule is to avoid exactly this type of biased and partisan conduct – a licensed broadcaster using the public airwaves to exert its influence for one candidate on the eve of an election. Unless the broadcaster offered Equal Time to other qualifying campaigns."
Harris was joined by comedian Maya Rudolph, who appears similar in dress and hair style. She often impersonates her on the comedy skit show.
This brings into question whether or not Harris was breaking the rules. Trump, of course, is free to visit SNL for his own reasons - but hasn't.
Instead, the former president has been roaming across the battleground states in a left-minute effort to secure his base under the Republican brand.
We will excitedly be follow up on election night, posting live updates for those who are interested.
