An unidentified woman was burned so severely on Sunday they still do not know who she is. The man is illegally in the United States of America. According to multiple sources, the victim was sleeping when was was set on fire at the Coney Island Station, by an alleged Guatemalan migrant named Sebastian Zapeta-Calil.
The woman had a walker and bags with her - police struggled to pull her fingerprints because her hands were burned.
Above is the horrific screen shot of a video showing her burning in a commuter subway car. The NYC medical examiner's office is still working with the NYC Police Department in identifying the victim.
“We continue to work with partner agencies to confirm the identity of the decedent, after which attempts will be made to contact next of kin before releasing details to the media,” the medical examiner said.
