President-elect Donald J. Trump is TIME Magazine's Person of the Year for 2024. The changing political times of America has announced a 2nd term for Donald Trump and his new administration.
Time announced this today on their web site, and we believe it can be easy to understand why. With 2 assassination attempts this year alone, and controversial statements from social media, the press, and even Mar-A-Lago: He's clearly got the attention of the world.
If there's one thing you can say about Trump, there's going to be constant change coming from his administration. Looking back to the past, you can see he holds grudges and rewards loyalty.
He runs his administration his way - or the highway. Which means, you're either 100% on board with his thinking, his leadership, and his values - or you're out the door permanently.
There's no coming back once you disrespect Trump. He tends to have a long memory and many unsavory nicknames for people who make him angry.
The lack of strong Republican leadership is appalling. The only man to shout loudly when illegal immigrants were marching across the sovereign U.S. border.
Threatening trade sanctions with China, Mexico, and Canada for not protecting the country from illegal drugs and people.
Love him or hate him, his base of followers are stoutly loyal and have cultish reverence for him. "This man understands the basic American and their struggles." people say.
America First is something he promoted in his first administration. This time, he's going out guns blazing, promising sweeping changes on day 1 of his administration. People admonished him for playing golf during his first tenure. People forget that Biden, Obama, and yes, even Bill Clinton had time off the practice or enjoy vacations.
The President is always working - this is true. Even now, his endless meetings and phone calls streaming into Mar-A-Lago are mostly unheard of.
His wife, Melania, is going to be the First Lady again. How we will watch and wait with true joy as she appears once more.
She was wrongly maligned and beaten by the press. We hope she has a better time during this period.
We shall see.
Congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump for winning Person of the Year - deservedly.
