America Party - Elon Musk Announces New Political Party

Not even a month after receiving the golden key from U.S. President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, known for unusual decisions, announced his new "America Party" on social media.

"Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom," the post said, citing a poll he had previously posted on the platform.

After ramming through government agencies with his chainsaw, Musk left his D.O.G.E. role and became critical of Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill". Musk claims the amount of spending and debt will cripple America and cause more harm than good.

This is where the President and Musk have differing opinions.

And not even a few weeks after given the key, Musk was chiding the president on the amount of wasteful spending contained in the 900+ page bill.

If you think any Republican who is loyal to U.S. President Donald Trump will leap to Musk, it would be a grave mistake. Trump demands absolute loyalty, and sadly, this is where Musk failed to keep the loyalty and attention of the current U.S. president.

From Newsweek:

Musk posted his poll on July 4, writing that "Independence Day is the perfect time to ask if you want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system! Should we create the America Party?"

By Saturday afternoon, he closed the poll, which received just shy of 1.25 million votes, which had 65.4 percent respondents voting "Yes."

After seeing the results, Musk made a new poll, writing: "By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it! When it comes to bankrupting our country with waster & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy."

He also reposted a meme of a snake with two heads and the text "End the Uniparty," a reference to the belief among some Americans that despite having a two-party system, very little actually changes between the Democrats and Republicans in power.

Doesn't he still owe the U.S. president $100 million dollars? I doubt the president would really give a second thought to that.

Really.
