Researchers at UC Davis published in the ACS Central Science tested 3 popular disposable vapes.
They put them through 1,500 puffs per device and analyzed the vapors coming out of the device for metals and other elements.
What they found will astonish you.
The researchers had found such high levels of toxic metals, they believed their test equipment was malfunctioning. But it wasn't.
You see once the heating elements are used, they release a tiny vapor containing toxic metals such as nickel, chromium, antimony, and lead. The two escobar vapes had enough lead after 200 puffs - which would be the equivalent of 20 PACKS of cigarettes!
But where is the toxic metals coming from?
The nicotine juice, and the vapors hardware such as the heating elements and chamber. These toxic metals are so high it can increase your cancer risk substantially - and cause neurological damage, including respiratory disease.
