George Santos posted on X today saying:
"I'm heading to prison, folks and I need you to hear this loud and clear:
I'm not suicidal. I'm not depressed. I have no intentions of harming myself, and I will not willingly engage in any sexual activity while I'm in there.
If anything comes out of suggesting otherwise, consider it a lie...full stop.
The statistics around what happens to get men in BOP custody are horrifying, and that's exactly why I'm putting this out there now. So if something does happen, there's no confusion.
I did NOT kill myself.
Clearly George Santos hasn't watched the HBO OZ tv show. That's all he'll need to know when going to prison.
Per TMZ:
George pled guilty to wire fraud and identity theft charges ... and, he was sentenced to 87 months -- that's more than 7 years -- in a federal penitentiary. He's also been ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in restitution.
