No Shortcuts in News

Breaking into news is tougher than you think: There are no shortcuts to journalism like in Information Technology. I can't run a PowerShell script to update a tweet or website. With so many different news sources to choose from, it makes sourcing stories difficult.

With news aggregators, you can get feeds updated instantly, but without the personal touch of a website. I don't like that.

Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are 3 websites I refuse to interact with. I will also refuse to use Parlor, recently acquired by Kanye West. This site has been known to harbor white nationals and oath keepers.

Nope!

The hardest route is usually the best: Work and toil, create an engaging platform for your readers to interact and rage on. This takes time to build - like anything, and practice.

I welcome any advice from the news agencies.
