8 people have died after attempting to cross the coast of France near Pas-de-Calais. As the 'boat' made it way to shore, it encountered rocks and was torn to pieces - along with the passengers.

There were 51 people rescued and 6 were taken to the hospital - including a 10 month old baby suffering from hypothermia.

Human traffickers are selling illegal trips across from France to the UK in hopes of a better life. These vessels are overloaded with people, made of poor quality, have zero power, and no life jackets to be seen.

French authorities have rescued about 200 people off the coast of Calais within 24 hours. In fact, more than 21,000 people -all illegal immigrants, have crossed the English Channel in small boats between January and September 2024.

This unbelievable number has caused concerns within both countries. As the steady march of illegal immigration stems from countries unable to even manage their own citizens with basic needs - they decide to flee.
