Today IDF has launched an airstrike which killed at least 14 people, including a Hezbollah Commander. The Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the strike on Beirut's southern district killed Ibrahim Akil. He was a commander of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force, and 10 other operatives.

“We will continue pursuing our enemies in order to defend our citizens, even in Dahiya, in Beirut,” said Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant

After several hours, Hezbollah leaders confirmed Akil's death. They called him 'The greatest jihadist leader' and 'had joined the procession of his brothers, the great martyr leaders, after a blessed life full of jihad, work, wounds, sacrifices, dangers, challenges, achievements, and victories.'

He served the highest military body of Hezbollah, the Jihad Council. In 1983, Azil was sanctioned by the United States for allegedly being involved in the 1983 bombing that killed more than 300 people at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut and U.S. Marine Corps barracks.

This escalates even more tension and war between Lebanon and Israel, sparring an ever-widening path of blood.
