JD Vance Repeats Pet-Eating Claim

A man determined to deliver a message, over and over again. They're not nice people, and they're here to eat your pets and wildlife. He's talking about illegal immigrants that invade the United States of America.

While I can agree, that yes, there have been illegal immigrants committing terribly violent crimes - it just doesn't line up to reality when it comes to the facts.

“We are closer, in this moment, to a nuclear war, or a third world war, than at any time in our country’s history and we have the chaos and incompetence of Kamala Harris to thank for it,” the Republican vice-presidential nominee said during a campaign event in Eau Claire.

Vance was speaking at a rally in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. But he has a legitimate point: People have been crossing into the United States of America at an alarming rate - from as far away as China and Africa.

What used to be hundreds turned into thousands of people every day. At which point does a country have no control over their borders?

Just look at some of the grim towns bordering the U.S.-Mexico border: They're violent hell holes.

You couldn't convince the Pope to visit Tijuana Mexico without a bullet-proof car.

In fact, here's a bonus for you if you do decide to visit:

5 Safety Tips For Traveling To Mexico

  1. Be careful when renting a car, hailing a taxi, or ordering an Uber. There are tons of scams surrounding transportation. Take the bus if you can. Mexico’s public transportation is great!
  2. Don’t travel outside of resort areas at night.
  3. Avoid protests. Not only can they turn violent, but it’s illegal for foreigners to take part in them. You don’t want to be caught up in the Mexican legal system.
  4. Avoid isolated areas. Stay with a group in well-populated and patrolled areas.
  5. Don’t draw attention to yourself. That means, don’t flash money, don’t overdress, wear a lot of jewelry, or look like you’re lost.
