The Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed by an Israeli airstrike today. Israel targeted the capital of Beirut with many attacks, also destroying the headquarters of the organization.

Israel claims it was a 'precision strike' which tooik down many buildings, at the heart of Dahieh/Beirut.

Thick clouds of dust and smoke filled the air as the attacks happened. It was thought Nasrallah survived, but they determined he perished in the attack.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah continued to promise to fight and pledge to continue their jihad in confronting the enemy.

US-made Mark84 bombs carried out the devastating attacks. Nasrallah was the latest high-profile Hezbollah leader to be killed in recent weeks.

This was in addition to the pager and walkie-talkie bombs that went off over the past week, killing over 30 and injuring 3,000 across Lebanon.
