Miley Cyrus Sued for Copyright Infringement

All is not well in Nashville. Miley Cyrus was hit with a copyright lawsuit, which alleges she copied Bruno Mar's when they wrote her song 'Flowers'.

It was filed on Monday in a Los Angeles Federal court by a company called Tempo Music. They claim 'Flowers' contains exploitation of many elements from Bruno Mar's 2013 song "When I was With Your Man".

Sony Music Publishing, Apple, Target, Walmart, and other companies are listed as defendants for distributing flowers.

Having listened to both songs, it is similar but not an outright copy. Representatives for Cyrus didn't reply back to Rolling Stone's inquiry.

The song Flowers, was written after her divorce from LIam Hemsworth. Tempo Music is seeking money for damages caused by the copyright infringement. They want to stop Cyrus from performing, distributing, and selling her song "Flowers".

If I was her, I'd tell them to go to hell.
