Israel has hit 300 targets in Lebanon on Monday, making it one of the most fierce attacks to date.  The Lebanon government said 100 people were killed and 400 wounded. Roughly 600 people were killed in Lebanon since last October, not including more than 100 civilians.

Israel urged residents to leave their homes, which were blasted by extensive strikes using fighter jets. Hezbollah has vowed to continue it's own attacks to show solidarity with the Palestinians and Hamas.

Text messages were sent by Hezbollah to residents shortly before the attacks. This is because some residents were living close to stored arms by the group.

“If you are in a building housing weapons for Hezbollah, move away from the village until further notice,” the Arabic message reads, according to Lebanese media.

“This comes in the framework of the psychological war implemented by the enemy,” Makary said, and urged people “not to give the matter more attention than it deserves.”

The grim reality of the pagers and walkie-talkie explosions that hit Lebanon last week have still caused serious problems for Lebanon.

Israel has not confirmed any responsibility for the attacks.
