A 58-year old man who was arrested a week ago for attempting to assassinate fmr President Trump had a written note saying he planned the attack. He predicted his failure, and offered $150,000 to anyone who would 'complete the job'.

The man is Ryan W. Routh, and had been hiding on the golf course for over 12 hours before being caught by the Secret Service. He had staked out the area a month before, caught with his SKS rifle poking out of the shrubbery.

He was pointing his gun to the 6th hole, with an intention of killing Trump - this rifle also had a scope which allowed him to fine tune his aim.

In the node, the man said Trump was unfit to be President, and had been planning the attack for a long time. He is scheduled to be in a West Palm beach court this morning.

The note said: “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster."
