Nicky Jam Halts his support for Trump

It didn't take long, but a mere days after a comedian mocked and insulted Puerto Rico, well known Reggae artist Nicky Jam has removed his support for Donald Trump.

“Never in my life did I think that a comedian would speak poorly of my country. For that reason, I renounce my support of Donald Trump and I step aside on all political matters. Puerto Rico deserves respect,” Jam said.

Many have cried foul over Hinchcliffe's remarks, showing how callous and cold he is. And, quite frankly, racist.

Marc Anthony came out and said on Twitter:

“I remember after Hurricane Maria devastated our island … Trump blocked billions in relief … while thousands died,” he wrote. “ I remember that when our families lacked clean water and electricity, Trump threw paper towels and called Puerto Rico ‘dirty’ and ‘poor.’”

Bad Bunny decided to back Harris after the 'island of garbage' comment at the Trump rally.

Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez announced their support of Harris and shouted angrily about the treatment to Puerto Rico.

And we agree. When you reduce a soon-to-be state to name calling, what does that mean about society?

Leave the trash where it should stay - in the garbage, along with Hinchcliffe's lousy comedy routine.
