This Weird US Election

To say it was a strange election cycle would be a marvel by any stretch of the imagination. Picture it: Donald Trump, the former U.S. President, attending the drive-thru while taking orders at a local McDonalds.

Just unbelivable.

"I've always wanted to work at McDonalds, doing this job would be great."

My first job was at a Portage la Prairie McDonalds back in 1985 - doing fries just like the former President.

"Grab one while it's really hot." Trump said on camera.

And we agree - the best fries are the ones right out of the fryer. And although it looks like an easy job, it isn't. You have to carefully handle very hot and dangerous fries that could burn you - very badly.

He then paid for the $40 drive thru order for the customer saying "This is all on Trump."

"Thank you sir!" they said as the bag was passed into the car.

Another customer said "You made it possible for ordinary people to meet you! Thank you so much, we pray for you!"

“It was a big part of her resume that she worked at McDonald’s — how tough a job it was,” Trump said at the restaurant in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. “She … made the french fries, and she talked about the heat: ‘It was so tough.’ She’s never worked at McDonald’s.”

Harris spokesperson Ian Sams shot back in a statement to NBC News.

“When Trump feels desperate, all he knows how to do is lie,” Sams said. “He can’t understand what it’s like to have a summer job because he was handed millions on a silver platter, only to blow it.”
