BREAKING: Multiple Casualties after jet crashes into river near D.C. airport

A military Black Hawk helicopter has crashed into a passenger jet carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew members. The jet went down in the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport after colliding with the helicopter, at around 9PM local time.

American Airlines flight 5342 was involved in the crash. The Black Hawk helicopter was based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. 

Video shown on ABC News shows a fireball erupt when the military aircraft and passenger jet collided.
