Disaster Meeting with Zelenskyy and President Trump

Explosive. Disastrous. Awful. Disrespectful. All words I would use to describe the meeting President Vlodimir Zelenskyy had with President Trump and Vice President Vance.

Completely disrespectful. First off, and speaking without authority, The United States provided a lot of help to Ukraine over the past 3 years. Billions and billions.

Forget the nice boardroom meeting politeness. This quickly degraded into a shouting match which should never have happened in the oval office. You put aside personal differences for your country. It would have been a perfect meeting if Zelenskyy brought a minor gift - say coffee or something special from Ukraine the President and Vice President would like. He would quickly agree with the President and VP, then leave.

Instead, we delved deep into awful things like pointing fingers, yelling, and, being mean. If the choice was between speaking and listening, Zelenskyy should have listened instead of spoke. This awful situation could have resolved quickly. But now - how? They need a new President in Ukraine.

The best quote came from VP Vance. "Have you said thank you once?" President Trump raises his finger, pointing to Zelenskyy. "You've been very disrespectful to this office, to this country, and to us."

"Your country is in big trouble. You're not winning. You're not." President Trump said. "If you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks or less."

Ouch.

President Trump's hands are steepling and he is white hot angry.

"You have to be thankful." Trump said.
"I am thankful" said Zelenskyy.

We won't go further into the meeting. What we have is two countries in complete polar opposites. The complication of aggression from Zelenskyy and disrespectful attitude can't be swept under the rug.

We suspected this would be a tense meeting, but oh boy, were we ever in for a surprise.

If Zelenskyy stays in power, we don't expect much if any, support from America. Except to get Americans out of Ukraine as fast as possible.

Because what other options are there?
