President Trump and President Zelenskyy Strike a Deal

After a minor political disagreement, it appears President Trump and Vladimir Zelenskyy have struck a deal for mineral rights - in exchange for weapons and assistance from the United States of America.

President Trump has said that President Zelenskyy wants to come to Washington to sign a 'very big deal' with him. The President said some form of peacekeeping troops are needed in Ukraine, if an agreement to end the war is agreed upon. Some have concerns the U.S. might be making far too many concessions to Russia, and might undermine security in Ukraine and Europe.

The future of weapon shipments are still being talked about. Both have agreed to the draft and say they will both sign it.

"What we're doing is now we're saying, look, we want to be secured," Trump said. "The American taxpayer now is going to get their money back, plus."

It took less than a week, but President Zelenskyy decided to agree.

“I am not signing something that 10 generations of Ukrainians will have to repay,” he told a news conference. Still, the Ukrainian leader acknowledged that he might, ultimately, have little choice.

“If we are forced and we cannot do without it, then we should probably go for it,” he said

President Trump appears to be on track to resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine.
