A federal judge has blocked President Trump's buyout offer for federal employees until at least Monday afternoon.
U.S. District Judge George O'Toole Jr. made a Monday afternoon court hearing to consider blocking the 'fork in the road' offer.
"I enjoined the defendants from taking any action to implement the so-called 'Fork Directive' pending the completion of briefing and oral argument on the issues," said O'Toole. "I believe that's as far as I want to go today."
A little more than 2 million U.S. federal employees faced a midnight Thursday deadline to accept the offer of "deferred resignation". The four unions that represent 800,000 federal unionized workers say the offer is unlawful, arbitrary.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Russell Vought as Office of Management and Budget Director today. Who?
He is the "architect" of Project 2025, and served in the 1st Trump administration. It was a 53-47 vote, with both parties holding lines to pass for and against.
Democrats described him as a lawless idealogue. To their credit, they used every tool in their legislative belt to delay his confirmation. Senator Chuck Schumer was so committed, he stayed up all night, and said: “We want Americans, every hour, whether it’s 8 p.m. or 3 a.m., to hear how bad Russell Vought is and the danger he poses to them in their daily lives.”
Expect budget cuts, job losses, and intense hatred as Vought seeks to minimize the size of government workers, foreign and abroad.

Justin Bieber is facing fear about an upcoming sex trafficking trial, involving his former mentor Sean Combs, or "Diddy" as he is known.
Justin is worried about testifying in his case, and if he does, it will ruin his career. Justin has been struggling with mental health issues for years, and recent images of the couple in Aspen, Colorado showing him using a bong while wrapped in a blanket.
The order is a threat to the sovereignty to the U.S. that undermines national security and foreign policy work.
This past November, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and then defense-minister Yoav Gallant for "crimes against humanity and war crimes."
The White House issued a statement, saying: “By issuing arrest warrants for Israeli officials and Hamas officials at the same time, the ICC created a shameful moral equivalency”.
The soon to be most-hated Democratic Senator, John Fetterman, says little to nothing about President Donald Trump's directives and appointees.
And judging from his visit to Mar-a-Lago last month to meet President Trump, he has been in favor of the nominations.
“It seems like as soon as he went to Mar-a-Lago, things changed,” said Patty Lengel, who traveled from Lebanon Pa. to take part in a Harrisburg protest. “He went down to kiss the ring.”
Known for wearing sweatpants and jogging gear during official Senate business, the man couldn't know true fashion if it hit him cold in the face.
