According to multiple news sources, Alabama now ranks 39th in the nation for the most challenging place to live with pollen.
“I suffer with seasonal allergies myself, I'm an avid user of you know the seasonal Benadryl, Zyrtec, and Claritin,” stated Birmingham resident Caleb Mills.
From WVTM13.COM:
“I’ve seen it all around, you know clouding people's windshields, running off into the streets yeah, I'm not sure exactly how you fix, I mean I think it's that's probably a good thing that there's a lot of pollen around because it means that there are you know more pollen-natters growing plants and what not,” stated Morris resident Patrick Rutledge.
Medical experts identify allergic reactions to pollen with ease and recommend using over-the-counter medications to cure the reaction.
“A lot of patients. what they present often is with the nasal congestion, and also it's very itchy, watery nose, and at the same time watery eyes, for example, you can try an antihistamine which is available depending on the anti-histamine, some of them are a little bit more drowsier than the other you can pick the one that's really fit for you and also you can take some nasal sprays,” explained Do-Yeon Cho M.D. , M.S.
