An American Airlines flight has caught fire today, while at the Denver airport. The plane diverted after 20 minutes of flight that was in the air for 1 hour before landing.
All passengers were able to exit the plane, and only a few minor injuries were sustained.
6 passengers were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
In a statement to ABC News, American Airlines said, "We thank our crew members, DEN team and first responders for their quick and decisive action with the safety of everyone on board and on the ground as the priority."
