I started off a few years ago on Twitter, with a small, unused website. And then, one day, while posting on my blog, I thought 'You know, there isn't many Canadian news 'agencies' that exclusively report on America.' There was none of that up here.
Of course, you had Rebel Media or Rebel News, but really, we don't cover Canadian politics, and certainly don't go into local political avenues of Provincial governments. They have the CBC and other local news corporations that cater to these topics.
And let's be honest. These are 'professional' journalists doing work full time. I'm a gonzo journalist. I try to write without objectivity, from my perspective. Mostly to annoy people in power.
At least I'm honest about it. So go ahead. Call me fake news.
And so the lunacy and madness began, the first slogan was "America's News First". It must have angered the news gods in Canada and the United States. But still. I had to.
We covered the Republican party, the Democratic party, and current Presidents. I imagine we captured the attention of most news agencies with our cheeky, off-center, right-leaning stance.
We certainly enjoyed the friendly daily torments to the other competitive news agencies. All in good fun. Hell we even called out former President Barack Obama a few times with questionable strip club videos I found on Youtube.
Those immortal words will always be remembered on Twitter. "Make it rain Mr. President. Make it rain."
I was listening to MSNBC one morning while working, and they had a 'Top 50 disruptors of 2025'. That caught my attention. Reach for the skies - why not? You never get anywhere by never trying. I always believed in that, and God.
We pulled out of X after discovering the time sunk into the platform had little returns. And I never missed it. Creating an Instagram account was a necessity, along with locking down my daily photo uploads.
SNN is a hobby and labor of love. Our motto changed from 'America's News First' to 'Your Evening Entertainment'. It fit well - since most of the posts occur in the late evening.
Future Plans

- Unusual posts and times
- Web site re-design for dynamic updates and content shifts
- Exclusive interviews (!)
- Seeking casual journalists for contributions
- Advertising
- Bring the fun and unusual back into news
