CBS's Chief Executive Officer has resigned, according to multiple news sources. After being sued by President Trump after the 60 Minutes segment last year, McMahon, who led both network news at CBS and CBS-owned stations - said:

"it's become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward. It's time to move on and for this organization to move forward with new leadership."

McMahon opposes settling with Trump, and has quit alongside Bill Owens, who was the Executive Producer at 60 Minutes. He resigned a few weeks ago.

Trump sued CBS, saying the interview in 2024 with Harris benefitted her. CBS denies it, and Paramount Global - is in talks in allegedly finding a settlement.

Coincidentally, the company is seeking administration approval of a merger with Skydance Media. Its no wonder she's taken the back door to the unemployment lines.

McMahon, in her note, said that "the past few months have been challenging."

"I have spent the last few months shoring up our businesses and making sure the right leaders are in place, and I have no doubt they will continue to set the standard."
