Today, a former assistant, a psychologist, and special agent testified today in the Sean 'Diddy' Combs federal sex trafficking trail.
HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) agent Gerard Gannon was on the stand with photos showing the jury items found during the search of Diddy's beach home last year. They found personal lubricant, lingerie, and upper & lower AR15 receivers.
Hughes is the 'blind expert' who provided the jury with information about domestic violence, sexual assault, and traumatic stress.
From komonews:
Many victims will wait months, even years, before telling about what happened to them," Hughes testified.
The defense characterized Hughes as a biased professional witness, asking if she had gathered information about specific facts of this case. Hughes responded, “I’m not rendering any opinions about a specific individual.”
Also on the stand on Wednesday, Combs' former assistant, George Kaplan. He described what it was like working for Combs, which included setting up and cleaning up "freak offs" and picking up drugs.
"The setup and the cleanup, I think, is important, and the assistants have a lot of evidence in this case," said Rahmani.
On Thursday, prosecutors plan to call five witnesses after Kaplan finishes his testimony. Rapper Kid Cudi, who had a brief relationship with Ventura, is expected to take the stand.
The Bad Boy Entertainment empire is crashing down all around Combs. When the U.S. federal government brings charges against you, 99% of the people on the stand face justice. Very few, if any, get exonerated. This is exactly why they refused to grant Combs bail, knowing he would immediately skip bail and go into hiding.
With the awful description of horrific violence and traumatic sexual abuse that Cassie Ventura suffered in the 10 year span with this monster cannot be underestimated. The poor woman will need counselling for years to come.
Stay tuned as we continue coverage on this awful trail.
