In Michigan today, 11 people are in the hospital after a stabbing at a local Walmart. The Michigan State Police investigated a mass stabbing incident at the Traverse City store. One suspect was taken into custody.
There is no word on who exactly the victims are or their ages.

"I’m in touch with law enforcement about the horrible news out of Traverse City," Whitmer wrote. "Our thoughts are with the victims and the community reeling from this brutal act of violence. I am grateful to the first responders for their swift response to apprehend the suspect."
Traverse City is a small city in northern Michigan, about 140 miles northwest of Grand Rapids. It is situated by the water on Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay.
