A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan on Sunday, killing over 1,400 people and injuring over 3,000.
About 8,000 houses have also been destroyed, and when the second earthquake followed at 5.2, it caused those partially collapsed buildings to sink even further.
The Taliban are asking world leaders to help during their humanitarian crisis.
